Olatunbosun Meets Newly Appointed BSES Management Head, Omosilade on Development Plans

Ekiti state commissioner for information, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun on yesterday met with the newly appointed Board of the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State (BSES) headed by Chief Omosilade and Management of the outfits to discuss the future of the State owned Radio and Television Stations.

Rt. Hon Olatunbosun, in a chat with Heritage News revealed that the focus of their meeting was on the projected complete revitalization of the Stations expected to address stations’ current challenges and propel them to compete favourably with their counterparts across the globe.

It is however on record that, Under Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s leadership, ” we’ve already achieved significant milestones, including reconnecting stations to the national grid and extending Independent Power Plant (IPP) services for uninterrupted power supply after depending solely on diesel powered generators since inception of the Stations in 1999.

“Plans are now in motion for a comprehensive upgrade of the station’s facilities and its reach to restore its glory and make it the best in the Southwest.

“This government is committed to ensuring both the radio and television stations of BSES become a true source of pride for Ekiti. The journey to transformation has begun”
