The world-wide king of Ogboni Iwashe fraternity, Oba (Ogboni) Adekunle Aderounmu , has described Ogbóni fraternity as a complete way of life.

Oba Aderounmu who made the declaration while expantiating on the question, “what is Ogbóni”? Spoke in Brazil where he unraveled the seaming mystery in the cult, disclosing that Ogbóni fraternity has no sinister or inauspicious engagement.

The President of the African Cultural Center in Brazil and the worldwide lord of Ogboni Iwashe, who took his time to explain the link between the Cult and Edan deity, specifically pointed out that it is a fraternity institution of Yoruba Community that has to do with traditional close worship.

According to him, “Ogbóni is a fraternal institution of the Yoruba community, of traditional and closed worship.

“The fraternity is linked to the cult of the Edan deity. It is a complete way of life, which has science, economics, technology, philosophy, history, fortune-telling, law, jurisprudence, and morality”.

Oba Aderounmu has been instrumental in popularizing the Ogboni fraternity in Brazil with his influence and status as a public figure in the country.

This man has taken the Ogboni fraternity to new heights, including bringing it to the attention of the Brazilian parliament and elevating its status among the Brazilian elites.

As the Worldwide King of Ogboni Iwashe Fraternity, Oba Aderonmu has utilized his position to raise awareness and promote the Ogboni fraternity in Brazil.

Through his efforts, he has successfully introduced the principles and values of the Ogboni society to a broader audience, extending its reach beyond traditionalists and attracting the attention of the Brazilian elites.
