Odimayo Begins Grading of Rural Roads to Link Over 35 Villages, Camps in Irele LGA

The candidate for House of Representatives for Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Prince Jimi Odimayo has commenced the grading of rural roads to link over 35 villages, hamlets and camps to Irele town, headquarters of Irele local government area.

The earth moving tractor was mobilised to sites on Saturday, as part of efforts of the Irele born Prince to make life more bearable for the rural dwellers, and also to ease the movement of both human and agricultural produce to markets and other destinations.

The multi-millions naira road project was kickstarted at Iyansan – Atunranse road in Irele local government area, which is expected to cover more roads during the two weeks of it operation.

Odimayo gesture to make the roads motorable has started since 2017, and became a yearly affair as his personal contribution to uplift the living standard of the grassroots and argrian communities.

The MHR hopeful noted that his experience during his campaign tours of the council areas prompted him to extend this year geading excercise to more villages and camps to cushion the effect of bad roads on the inhabitants of the over 35 villages across Irele council area.
