The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan, otherwise known as “Oko opo” has promised to continue his philanthropic gestures towards the welfare of the people of Ekiti State.
He further reaffirmed this with his intention of clearing of some hospitals bills, clearing of loan debts of some market women, empowering some widows, cash gift for some community leaders and youths, free fueling for motorcyclists and motorists in the state, visitation to aged and less privileged in the society and commissioning of some bore holes for the used of the society by December.
He said, taking care of widows, less privileged, women empowerment, youth empowerment, borehole Projects in Ekiti state, disabled empowerment, free fuel for okada riders and free fuel for motorist in Ekiti state is part of his promises to man kind.
According to him, Okada Riders will benefit in the free fuel distribution which will take place soon in Ado Ekiti.
The Founder said, for the gesture is to put smiles on the faces of Ekiti people and the Nigerians as a whole who are passing through tough time.
According to him, ” he said he felt the need to make this move in accordance to great exploits achieved by his late father, Chief Falegan who in his time not only ensured people in his community enrolled in schools and obtained quality education,also put smiles on people faces and he was also very instrumental in the founding and actualization of Ekiti state with his like-minded friends; Aare Afe Babalola Baba Deji Fasuan, Late bode Olowoporoku, Kings.
The free fuel distribution will be timing as it came at the right time when things are difficult and fuel needed as a result of fuel scarcity.
A community leader, Chief Ajayi Oladapo who spoke with us said “We are so happy and thankful for ODF Foundation contribution to the community, I want to Say thank you to Honourable David Opeyemi Falegan for his intention to do more and urged him to continue to do as he has been doing, I pray God to continue to provide for him”.
