ODF Condemns Ado Ekiti Killings, urges Governor Oyebanji to take proactive action

 

An Ado Ekiti born UK based Army, and Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has condemned the killings of three persons in Ado Ekiti, the state capital within 48hrs by unknown gunmen in broad daylight.

To this end, Falegan appealed to Governor Oyebanji to work with the security agencies in the state to improve surveillance and guide against such ugly occurrence.

The killing started with an executive of commercial motorcyclists, while a POS operator was also killed barely 48hrs later.

As if that was not enough, a trader was also shot at Oja Bisi Area of Ado Ekiti, thus raising panic and tension in the state.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, Falegan noted that the incidents of the killings were not good for the image of the state which has over the years been known as most peaceful and secured.

The U k based entrepreneur, security expert and politician appealed to members of the public to be security conscious and give useful information to security agents.
