Yobe State police command have reportedly rescued a woman that was locked up by her husband for about a period of one year.
Unfortunately, she passed on at the Aminu Kano teaching hospital few days ago.
According to reports, she was left to fend with little or no food at all, among other inhumane conditions.
The husband identified as Mr Ibrahim Yunusa will be arraigned to face the law, sources confirm.
