Nigérian Esu Priestess Dazzles In Brazil, Takes Esu To Brazilians In Oduduwa Temple

Iya Elesu, one of Nígeria’s most expressive Iyalorisa , the priestess of Esu Laalu, a devotee from Emere , Abeokuta, Iya’ Esu Saulatu Afoke Esufunlayo Balogun expressively dazzled Orisha devotees in Brazil , she recited and danced the mythical dance steps of Esu Laalu in the interior of Orisha temple in Mangagua, Saopaulo , Brazil .

The Esu Priestess danced the type no one has ever danced in Brazil, she appraised the messenger deity with classical Orisha dance steps , she actually provoked the spirit of sincere Orisha devotion to all Orisha devotees in the temple, she invoked a sense of spiritism that actually combined with the optimisms of Orisha worshipers.

Attached to the Oduduwa group from Abeokuta , Ogun state , Nígeria, Iya Elesu dazzled the Esu devotees from around the world who gathered in the interior of the Oduduwa templo dos Orixás , one of the world’s largest Orisha temple in actuality , she expressed the in-depth reasonings of Orisha Esu inside the temple of the gods , the sanctuary of all Orishas in Mangagua , waterside, Saopaulo.

Iya Elesu displayed her talent , she did different from the common ones of all other Olorisas , she attributed every movement of her dance to the functions of Esu Laalu, she said Esu is a trickster , Laalu dances to all gestures , and listens in various forms to all devotees .

Together with other Iyalorisas from Abeokuta , Iya ‘Esu danced with Iya Omolu, Iya Olosun and others , they all displayed dance steps with Brazilians and Europeans who occupied the temple at a restricted festival of the gods. The founder and Babalorisa of the Temple, Babalorisa Adesina Sikiru Salami, Baba king , said : “ The world is yet to see the whole beauty in the practice of Yoruba religion , Oduduwa templo dos Orixás is a pride to all Olorisas in Brazil , Nígeria and Europe , these dance steps happens here with frequency , they are accompanied with drummers from Oduduwa group from Abeokuta , the same happens in Oduduwa Europe “ The high priest revealed .

Speaking with Nígerian-Yoruba artist ,writer and journalist. Adeyinka Olaiya , Iya Elesu thanked Esu Laalu , vowed to worship Esu till the rest of her life . she said : “ I was born into a family of Esu worshipers. I have been blessed by Esu Laalu who is my Baba. This dance is to celebrate Esu . I thank Baba king for all his efforts in the Isese religion , I also thank the Oduduwa group from Abeokuta . I thank Olodumare for all the opportunities in my life . I am happy to be part of the Oduduwa group from Abeokuta . Isese lagba . “ She said .

The Esu Priestess revealed she actually grew up as a worshipper of Esu , she said that her family house in Emere is known in Abeokuta as ‘ Agbo-Ile Esu’ . Iya’ Esu said the worship of Esu Laalu has helped pacify her spiritism . Iya ‘Esu said she personally initiated over 200 devotees as Esu worshipers . According to her, Esu is not the bíblica Satan , she said Esu blesses , Esu mends, Esu gives joy . Iya’Esu explains the promises Esu completes if truly adored . Iya ‘ Esu exalted the efforts of Oduduwa temples in Brazil , Europe and Nígeria.
