The House of Representatives member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Fatoba Olusola Steve has felicitated with Nigerians and the people of Ekiti state on the country’s 62nd anniversary and 26th anniversary of the creation of Ekiti state.
The Reps. member in a statement said it was worthwhile celebrating the existence of the country despite various challenges it has passed through.
He stated further that though things might not yet be in place as expected but there is still hope of better future for the country.
“I want to use this medium to felicitate with Nigerians and the people of Ekiti state on the country’s 62nd anniversary and 26th creation anniversary of Ekiti state. It is worthwhile to celebrate our existence as a nation because there are many countries that have passed through similar challenges we are facing but didn’t survive it.
“Though things might not yet be in place as expected but there is still hope of better future for Nigeria”
Fatoba called on Nigerian government to intensify more efforts in tackling the issue of insecurity which has been a great challenges for the country.
He also urged Nigerians to pray for the country’s peace and progress.
“As we celebrate the 62nd anniversary of our dear country, I want to call on Nigerian government to intensify more efforts in tackling the issue of insecurity which has been constituted one of the greatest challenges we are facing as a nation.
“As Nigerians, we should continue to pray for the peace and progress of the country”
The Lawmaker also urged Nigerians and the people of Ekiti to celebrate in moderation and wished them happy celebration.
