My Six Months In Retrospect! -Ekiti Speaker, Aribasoye Reflects
Reflecting on my tenure as the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly over the past six months fills me with immense pride. It has been a period defined by unwavering dedication to legislative responsibilities and a deep commitment to the welfare of the people of Ekiti State.
I have approached my role with diligence, ensuring that the voices of our citizens are not only heard but also actively represented in the halls of legislation. From engaging in community visits to holding constructive stakeholder meetings and overseeing administrative tasks, I have upheld the values of transparency and accountability at every turn.
These efforts have allowed me to forge meaningful connections with our constituents, address their concerns, and passionately advocate for their needs within the legislative framework. As the new year approaches, I am wholeheartedly determined to continue serving the people of Ekiti State with unwavering dedication and integrity, honoring the trust placed in me as the Speaker of the House.
I am deeply grateful for the support of my colleagues, constituents, and dedicated staff. Looking ahead, I eagerly anticipate further legislative engagements and the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the continued development of our beloved state.
In the immortal words of Theodore Roosevelt, “Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.” It is my utmost honor to engage in work worth doing as a servant of the people, and I remain steadfast in my commitment to making a positive impact through legislative service.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve, and I look forward to the continued progress and prosperity of Ekiti State in the coming year.
Thank you!
