Ado-Ekiti local government Supervisor for Agric, Hon. Akinjide Akintola has supported the move by Ekiti state governor, His Excellency, Dr John Kayode Fayemi to create Local government development area(LCDA) in all
the sixteen local governments of the state.
Hon. Akintola in a statement in Ado-Ekiti said, “Creating LCDA will bring government more nearer to the people and fast track development at the grassroot”
To him, the step taken by the governor is in response to the yearnings of Ekiti people for the creation of more local governments.
“There have been agitation by people for the creation of additional local governments. So the move by the governor to create LCDA suits the heart of these agitators”
Hon. Akintola called on all relevant stakeholders to give the governor more support for the accomplishment of this mission.
“I call on all relevant stakeholders in all the local governments to give the governor The necessary support for the accomplishment of this good mission”
The Supervisor also commended the state governor for his outstanding performance.
He added that the administration of governor John Kayode Fayemi has brought more developments to the state which needs to be applauded by all and sundry.
