The world-wide king of Ogboni Iwashe fraternity, Oba (Ogboni) Adekunle Aderounmu, has felicitated Muslims in Brazil, in African countries, and globally on the celebration of Eid – El- Fitri, which marks the completion of the Ramadan fast, urging, them to continue to sustain the piety and spiritual rejuvenation, Peace and love achieved during the period.
Oba Aderounmu in a statement personally signed by him said it is only when peace reigns that Muslims and adherents of other religions can contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of their respective communities, and countries.
While celebrating with them on this special day, the Ogbóni King prayed Almighty Allah that their sincere desires and prayer for peace and personal sacrifices be rewarded.
“I join well-wishers in wishing the Muslim Ummah a happy Eid-el-Fitr as our brothers and sisters mark the end of Ramadan.
“It is also my sincere desire that the prayers for peace and personal sacrifices of the faithful be rewarded as the fasting period ends.
“I also urge solidarity with the Muslim faithful so that African can continue to enjoy peaceful coexistence
