Leaders and stakeholders of Ikole Constituency II in Ekiti State have endorsed the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye, ahead of the forthcoming primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Reacting to the endorsement, Aribasoye expressed gratitude to political leaders and stakeholders in the constituency for the confidence reposed in him, describing the gesture as a strong encouragement to continue serving the people with dedication and commitment.

“I sincerely appreciate the leaders and stakeholders of Ikole Constituency II for the confidence reposed in me through your endorsement as we prepare for the forthcoming election,” he said.

“Your support is deeply valued and it further strengthens my resolve to continue serving our people with dedication and a strong commitment to progress and development.”

In a statement on Wednesday, the Speaker noted that the show of support from the constituency had further strengthened his determination to promote growth and development in the area.

According to him, “Leadership is a responsibility that requires trust, and I do not take the confidence reposed in me by our leaders and stakeholders for granted. I remain committed to providing effective representation and advancing the collective interest of our people.”

He emphasised that the backing of the people remains critical in achieving meaningful leadership and sustainable development.

“The support of the people is the foundation of every successful leadership. It inspires us to work harder and remain focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to our communities,” he added.
