A plethora of write-ups have flooded the media space about the man called Fatoba, a Member representing Ado Ekiti/Irepodun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency of Ekiti State.
All efforts to ignore reading them resulted in a persist lure to read and delineate the character of Hon Fatoba.
Having holistically subjected him to the sharp lens or optics of Good Governance , I discovered that a lot is Pathologically Wrong with Hon Fatoba
Yes, something must be wrong with him because many political jobbers have shirked in their Civic Responsibilities to the electorate in their Constituencies but Hon Fatoba is such a man that is faithful to his oath of office by placing his constituents far above any personal gains. Put simply, his constituents top the list of his priorities. Surely, something must be wrong with him.
In spite of the bottle-necks in the areas of implementation of our laws and motions, Hon Fatoba has been able to make life easier for his constituents.
For proudly telling the truth that members of his constituency can lend credence to the fact that the little time he has spent in the National Assembly has been of a great benefit to them. To be candid, something must be wrong with him because very few of the absentee political jobbers who have left their constituents in the lurch could hardly have them as reference points.
Is something serious not wrong with Hon Olusola Fatoba for exposing the greedy and self-seeking political mistletoes when he says : “many of my constituents are saying that they never knew that some of the benefits that had come their ways were available and that it had been far better compared to anything they had witnessed since 1999.”
Haba ! Hon. Fatoba,” e de n tun asiri awon ole jegudu jera oloselu”: Hon Fatoba, why expose the nest- feather-vesting – politicians?
That Fatoba initiated a lot of projects and that such constituency projects have been executed while some politicians misappropriated , nay, siphoned the funds earmarked for constituencies projects requires that Fatoba should be probed for taking care of the masses.
Has something not gone awry with Hon Fatoba for having a good rapport with the leadership of the House to ensure that whatever he wants done at the House is primarily for the benefit of his people ?
Accoutability and honesty are foreign to political jobbers in our clime. But Fatoba discovered that the budget has always been there, but perhaps, his predecessors from the constituency might not have managed the budget very well.
And the compassionate Hon Olusola Fatoba ensured that he translated such budgets into physical projects which have been of immense value to his constituency members.
Is this in Hon Fatoba not an abnormality?
His being a God -fearing and proactive leader further proves that something is wrong with this Honourable!
For being a loyal grassroots leader and a staunch supporter of APC and the Ekiti 2022 Continuity Agenda makes it manifest that Hon Fatoba is an enigma and exemplary leader.
Since we are living in an era where leaders such as Hon Olusola Fatoba is a rare political phenomenum, and since he has disappointed the self-serving political jobbers in his Constituency while he has brought a lease of life to the teeming members of his Constituency, he should be returned for the second term in the House of Representative.
