It has been observed that women are usually considered and scaled up in most of the appointments being done by Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi.
For instance, five women were appointed out of the six Executive Secretaries, appointed in a statement signed by the Chief Press secretary to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode on Wednesday.
Also in the appointment of the fourteen Permanent Secretaries appointed, five women out of them were considered by Fayemi while the two General Managers were men after scaling examinations in ICT, Civil Service Procedures and General Knowledge.
This, Fayemi explained was done in a bid to further strengthen the leadership of the Ekiti State Civil Service for greater service delivery, the State.
