However, there are some foods you can eat regularly to flush out harmful toxins from your body, which I want to discuss below.

1. Foods like oranges, grapes, and lemons, which are high in vitamin C, fibre, and other chemical compounds that help in the break down of food particles, detoxification of harmful substances, and also in eliminating free radicals from the body, are good for the body and can help to flush toxins out of the body when consumed on a daily basis.

2. The importance and effectiveness of green tea cannot be overemphasized because it has a high proportion of powerful antioxidants that target free radicals and destroy them, thereby preventing the risk of having serious medical illnesses. Drinking green tea is very helpful in flushing toxins and free radicals out of the body.

3. Apart from its ability to make you shed tears when you slice it, onions can also help to remove toxins because of their unique antioxidants such as quercetin and its other chemical compound known as allicin, which locate free radicals and toxins in the body and eliminate them, thus relieving the body of stress that comes as a result of oxidation.

4. Another food type that can help to flush out harmful chemicals when eaten regularly is cabbage. It has a high quantity of a chemical compound known as sulforaphane with a decent amount of glutathione that helps the liver in its detoxification of harmful substances and their removal from the body.

Yogurt is also another food you can take regularly to get rid of toxins from your body because of its probiotic contents, which are available in large quantities and help to incapacitate some bacteria in the stomach that produce toxins in high amounts from digested food, and because it helps to regulate the level of gut bacteria, it prevents their infection, which happens when they multiply beyond normal proportion.
