Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has been commended for his remarkable act of compassion and commitment to the welfare of the people of Ekiti State.
Giving the commendation in a statement issued in Ado Ekiti, Past(Dr) Seyi Olusola, former SSA under Fayose administration, said the governor has once again demonstrated his unwavering dedication to the betterment of our society.
“In a recent event, Governor Oyebanji presented a generous sum of one hundred and fifty million naira as a gratuity to local government retirees and pensioners in Ekiti State.
“This act of kindness is not only commendable but also a testament to Governor Oyebanji’s genuine concern for the wellbeing of our valued retirees and pensioners.
“ By providing financial support to these individuals who have dedicated their lives in service to our state, the Governor has shown a deep understanding of the challenges they face and the importance of ensuring their dignified retirement”, he said.
According to the former Fayose’s Aide, Governor Oyebanji recognizes the immense contributions made by our retirees and pensioners, and he acknowledges the hardships they may encounter as they transition into their post-work lives.
He pointed out that his commitment to alleviating their financial burdens is a clear indication of his compassion and empathy as a leader and that his proactive approach to addressing the needs of our retirees and pensioners should serve as an inspiration to us all.
“It is a reminder that our government is dedicated to creating an environment where the welfare of every citizen is a top priority. Through this act of generosity, he has not only provided immediate relief but also instilled hope and confidence in the hearts of many.
