….Launches loan facility for indigent students

Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) will matriculate newly admitted students for the 2023/2024 academic calendar tomorrow, November 16, 2023 and next tomorrow, November 17, 2023.

The two-day matriculation ceremony will be held in Oye and lkole campuses.
Fresh students admitted into the faculties of Agriculture, Engineering and Environmental Design and Management will be having their matriculation ceremony on lkole campus while students admitted into the College of medicine, faculties of Basic Medical Sciences, Arts, Science, Management Science, Education, Communication and media studies, and Social Sciences among others will be having their matriculation ceremony on November 16 on the Oye main campus of the University.

Prof. Tajudeen Opoola who is Chairman of the University ceremonial Committee , the University’s committee that organized the matriculation ceremony, assured that concrete plans have been concluded for a successful conduct of the ceremony.

Prof. Opoola who is also the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, said the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abayomi Sunday Fasina, who is the Chief host of the event, invites all parents and guardians to the occasion and assures the students of a secured and conducive learning environment and smooth academic calendar.

In the same vein, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, Prof. Olubunmi Shittu also urged newly admitted students to ensure that they complete all sundry payments, adding that admitted students who are yet to pay school fees would not get matriculation numbers as they are yet to be bonafide students of the University.

Students are also reminded of available students Sundry fees loan and advised to utilize this lofty opportunity.
