It was pomp at a Yoruba Union’s Children Party on Saturday in Saopaulo, Brazil when Oba Ogboni Iwashe, Kabiyesi Adekunle Aderounmu, Yoruba women association in Sao paulo, led by Ganiat Titilope Fadeyi, Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi, Oodua Progressive Union (OPU) in Brazil celebrated the Ooni of Ife, the Yoruba’s foremost traditional ruler, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi’s birthday .
Clad in aso ebi, Tshirt with imprints of Ooni of Ife’s photo, and congratulatory messages to him on the occasion of his birthday. The people in joyous mood danced and sing praises of their highly revered oba, and Yoruba foremost Traditional ruler.
The celebration which was covered live and monitored by this reporter saw a crowd of Yorubas, gathered during OPU event on Saturday in Brazil expressed their love, passion and great respect to the Arole Oodua as they celebrated his birthday in grand style.
Prominent among the groups present at the ceremony are Nigerian Ladies Stars in Brazil, OPU
The people sang in the video, “Happy Birthday Kabiyesi to you!, happy birthday to you!, happy birthday to you Ooni of Ife!, happy birthday to you Onirisa!
“We wish you many happy returns of the day, long life and prosperity, hipp! hipp! Hippie!! Hurray!!!!,. so shouted, all of them in happy and festive moods.
Speaking on behalf of her Foundation members in Brazil, at OPU Children Party, Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi described Ooni as loving, kind and very passionate about his people.
She further portrayed the Arole Oodua as both numero uno and a progessive monarch, who is highly passionate about his people’s wellbeing.
İn a moving sentence the Founder of Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi Foundation gave a graphic detail of Ooni:
“He loves people around him to progress, and I am proud of him.He is a philanthropist who never jokes with the welfare of his people.”
“He always means whatever he says ; his words are his bond as he pursues whatever he sets to achieve with passion and gets it done. This is why he is so much loved by his people and they immensely treasure him.
To further push home her impressive portraiture of Ooni as a unique royal father . Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi said:
“I am particularly impressed by his philanthropic gestures, and this is why he is my mentor and I imbibe useful lessons from his mentorial posture.
“He has empowered many youths and has been able to touch many lives positively such that future leaders have been raised through his philanthropic deeds.”
“On behalf of Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi Foundation, Yoruba women in Brazil, and OPU, we say a resounding happy birthday and many happy returns of the day to our Amiable Royal Highness.

Oba Aderounmu described Ooni as not just “our source but our root and orisa himself who is worthy of being celebrated with greatest adulation and even more”.
The Monarch described Ooni of İfe’s leadership styles as second to none, adding that this has endeared him to many people and traditional rulers globally since his enthronement, such that his tenure has ushered an oasis of unprecedented peace in his domain and in Yoruba land.
“Ooni risa is such a man of peace and divine wisdom with high humility whose life style is worthy of emulation. Needless to say that his enviable achievements are traceable to his being quintessential of honour, integrity and wisdom.
