It is unwise to keep doing the same thing the same way and expect a different result. Permit me to hint that Ikere has been at the receiving end of playing Bad Card politically!
In order not to lose out in the current Political Equation in EKITI State. Ikere should imbibe useful lessons from the Political Modus Operandi of other ethnic groups in Nigeria especially in the areas of their display of Unalloyed Support for their own when it matters most.
Pure excercise of the “Spirit of Camaraderie” towards a clan’s man or woman creates an endless positive feedback politically.
Put simply , being a firm Wall of Support for a member of one’s household, group, ethnic or nation paying special attention to the realistic goals such a support will achieve is a pertinent factor to be considered for Ikere votes to count. Ikere’s relevance in Ekiti Political Space has transcended any blind optimistic Political permutations with no achievable result in sight.
Given the above scenario, an average Ibo man will give a hand of support to his own by simply telling you” Na my Brother” at a crucial moment when his support counts for his fellow tribesmen or women.
In the face of an imminent arrest, a Soldier up North during Dimka’s botched coup, simply instructed Dimka: “Tafi dege anan,” meaning, leave this place at once! A simple display of the spirit of “Camaraderie.”
Ironically, someone , from other divide for some self-serving reasons would have shot Dimka in the leg. And the rest will be history!
By the same token, this is a Crucial Moment or Psychological Moment MCA needs a firm Wall of Support from all Ikere eligible Electorate.
Like our brother from other Divide will say: “Na our Daughter o.”

Another strong point in favour of Chief Monisade Christiana Afuye(MCA) is that she has , in the umpteenth times, demonstrated that she is a PEOPLE -ORIENTED Leader who can KNOCK the TABLE to get THINGS DONE on behalf of IKERE EKITI. A vivid demonstration of her unique trait of a selfless leader was made manifest during the untold ravaging impacts of COVID 19 Pandemic, MCA discovered that the distribution of the Relief Materials given by EKITI State Government in Ikere was lopsided. MCA personally contacted Her Excellency, Erelu Bisi Fayemi for her intervention. And MCA’s request was immediately met , even a little bit extra.
It is evident that a political entity such Ikere cannot afford the luxury to be left out in the sharing formula of the Dividends of Democracy. MCA will be the EYE of IKERE in the Government. No doubt, this rare opportunity will be an added ADVANTAGE as our great town, IKERE will not be consigned to the trashbag of oversight when it matters most.
The fact that MCA has an enviable Royal Lineage of the present and past Successful Leaders implies that Chief Okinlua cannot Settle For Less!
Being an ” Omo Akin ti ko gbudo sojo”, ( Being a brave Scion of the Valiant”, MCA cannot afford to disappoint Ikere EKITI.
Lastly, MCA is a God-fearing and Incorruptible Leader in whose HEART the SOCIAL WELFARE Interest of IKERE PEOPLE is etched. She puts God first in whatever she does. Since God is her starting point, discharging her Civic Responsibilities to Ikere and EKITI people is a task she will surely accomplish.
These aforementioned Requisite Sterling Attributes of MCA cum her Running with the Celebrated Administrator, BAO are enough Reasons Ikere “tiletoko”(ENMASS) SHOULD VOTE for BAO/MCA come June 18, 2022.
