As tention mount on continuous crises in Oyo state over planned to arrest Sunday Adeyemo, A.k.a Sunday Igboho for leading onslaught against Fulanis in Igagan town in the state, Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has counselled Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde to rather dialogue Sunday Igboho.
In State made available to the press over the matter, Fayose frowned on the planned to arrest Sunday Ignoho and canselled Governor Makinde not to use force that could further escalate tension in the state.
Fayose said, “Governor Seyi Makinde should rather use dialogue and persuasion instead of escalating tensions in his own State by calling for the arrest of Sunday Adeyemo.
“If Federal Government and some Governors could ‘dialogue’ with Boko Haram terrorists, Gov. Makinde calling all stakeholders to a round-table discussion will not be misplaced action.
“Any attempt to arrest anyone will cause serious threats to the fragile peace in the West and the nation. Above all any unchecked escalation may lead to a state of emergency”.
