Former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Ayo Fayose has counselled the House of Representatives from Ekiti North Constituency 1, Hon. Akin Rotimi not to be too far from leaders, expecially the former Governor Dr. kayode Fayemi.
Fayose gave the advice when Hon. Akin Rotimi paid him a courtesy visit after winning the House of Representatives election.
Specifically, Fayose told him not to ignore counsel of the wise elders, adding that he should equally make his leaders proud by prioritizing the development and welfare of his people.
Fayose who said he had been told alot of good things about Akin Rotimi, which confirmed that he is indeed a good ambassador with good character, however urged him never to renege.
“So you are the Akin Rotimi that Joju (Oluwajomiloju Fayose) has told me a lot about. Congratulations omoluabi. You owe Dr. Kayode Fayemi your utmost loyalty for the RARE opportunity. I will be watching you.” Fayose said.
In his response, Hon. Akin Rotimi said, he was very grateful for Fayose’s warm reception and his advice, as well as assurances of his support during the course of his tenure as a Member, House of Representatives.
“I am grateful for your warm reception and advice, as well as the assurances of your support during the course of my tenure. God bless and keep you Sir”. Akin Rotimi said.
