Fatoba Mourns Bisi Egbeyemi, Says Former Deputy Governor Was A Father To Him

The House of Representatives member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Fatoba Olusola has mourned the immediate past Deputy Governor of Ekiti state, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi who he described as a father to him.

Fatoba who described Egbeyemi’s death as painful, shocking and unexpected at this time, said he felt sad and pained that Baba left when everyone least expected because he was a rallying point for the party, in time of trouble and he was dependable leader, and father.

In his condolence message, Fatoba commiserated with the wife, children, other family members, and all Ado Ekiti sons and daughters, as well as the Immediate past Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, and the incumbent Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, saying Baba Egbeyemi has left indelible legacies that will not be easily forgotten, having served Ekiti and his party consciously and diligently during his lifetime.

He described Baba Egbeyemi as a great and illustrious son of Ado Ekiti whose commitment and contributions to the development of Ado Ekiti and Ekiti state as a whole will forever be missed.

Fatoba However took solace in the fact that the deceased lived a fulfilled life that was purely a life of service to mankind with worthy legacies of service, honour, and integrity.

“I want to use this medium to express my condolences over the death of a man whom I see as a father to me, even as I still mourn him because his death pained me to the marrow.

“I want to specifically commiserate with my dear sister, Baba Egbeyemi’s daughter who is also an House of Assembly candidate in the just concluded election, Hon. Bolaji Olagbaju and other members of the family. I prayed that God will grant baba eternal rest, also I pray God will console you and give you the fortitude to bear the loss.

“Most expecially, I want to commiserate with our leader and former Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and also our Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji and his wife Dr. Mrs Olayemi Oyebanji, and I pray that God will grant you the courage to bear the loss.

“Finally, I commiserate with Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejuyigbe, all Ado Ekiti sons and daughters, the entire chief and Ewi in council, I prayed God will console you all.” Fatoba added
