Fatoba Lauds Gov. Oyebanji’s Initiative for An Ado-Ekiti New City Project

The House of Representatives member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 and Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon. Fatoba Olusola Steve has lauded the initiative of the state governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for an Ado-Ekiti new city project.

The ranking Reps. member in a statement through his media unit in Ado-Ekiti said that the planned new city project if fully executed would turn the state capital into a mega city status and make it more attractive to investors which will equally contribute to the economic improvement of the state.

Hon. Fatoba stated further that the ongoing massive projects in Ado-Ekiti such as the 1.2 kilometers flyover, completion of the cargo airport, the ring roads and other road projects are testament to the governor’s commitment to Urban Renewal policy of his administration and sincere move to turn Ado-Ekiti into a mega status.

The House Committee Chairman while welcoming the idea of transforming Ado-Ekiti into a mega city, congratulated Governor Oyebanji for the commissioning of new road projects in the state capital.

He added that the new commissioned roads ; Jimoh Aliu-Adewumi Road along Adebayo area, Hospitals Management Board/Doctors’ Quarters Road, and Obisesan-Oke Ala Link Road along Basiri area of the city will make life more pleasure for people plying these routes.

“The governor should be highly commended for his brilliant initiative to turn Ado-Ekiti into a mega city. This idea if fully materialized will make the state capital more attractive to investors and eventually contribute significantly to the state’s economy.

“With the ongoing massive infrastructural development in the state capital, it is evident that Governor Biodun Oyebanji is truly committed to the Urban Renewal policy of his administration.

“Let me on this congratulate His Excellency, for the newly three commissioned roads in the state capital which will make life more pleasurable for people residing in these areas. This is a welcome development that gladdens our heart” added Fatoba.
