…Lauds Oyebanji over efforts in development of Ado-Ekiti
The House of Reps. member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency one, and also Chairman of House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon. Fatoba Olusola Steve has sent his warm greetings to the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba(Dr) Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi on the celebration of this year’s Udiroko festival.
Fatoba in his greeting message extended his greetings to the Eyeshorun of Ado-Ekiti, Olori Abosede Adejugbe, the Ewi-In-Council and all Ado sons and daughters both at home and diaspora.
The lawmaker stated further by commending Ewi for the global recognition that the festival has continued to gain over the years which has become a sort of annual pilgrimage for pilgrims from far and wide.

“It is heartwarming to note that under the reign of our Kabiesi, Udiroko which marks the beginning of new year in Ado-Ekiti cultural calendar has gained a global recognition. It has become an annual pilgrimage for pilgrims from far and wide, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the state capital”
The House Committee chairman also lauded the state governor for the development of the state capital especially the ongoing rehabilitation of roads in some parts of Ado-Ekiti.
The Ado-Ekiti born politician urged the people of capital city to celebrate in moderation and prayed that God Almighty will grant Ewi the opportunity to celebrate many festivals on earth.
“I want to use this opportunity to commend the state governor for the development of Ado-Ekiti especially the ongoing rehabilitation of roads in some parts of the state capital which can be attributed to one of the significant progress the reign of Ewi has brought to Ado-Ekiti”
“As we celebrate our annual festival, I called on the indigenes of Ado-Ekiti to celebrate in moderation and do away with any act that that will hinder the peaceful celebration of the festival.
“My prayer is that, God Almighty will grant Kabiesi the opportunity to celebrate more festivals on earth. Ado-Ekiti and its people will continue to progress under his reign.
