Fatoba Felicitates Yilwatda, Bashiru Emergence as APC National Chairman, Secretary

The Honourable Member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 and Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon. Fatoba Olusola Steve, has congratulated Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe on his emergence as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside Dr. Ajibola Bashiru as National Secretary, at the just concluded National Convention of the Party in Abuja.

 

Hon. Fatoba described the emergence of the duo as a clear reflection of the collective will and confidence of the party’s stakeholders, emphasized the strength of internal democracy and the spirit of consensus which defines APC as a progressive family.

 

He commended the leadership qualities, discipline, and steadfastness and commitment of the leaders, having consistently demonstrated in the management of the party’s affairs, noting that their stewardship had contributed significantly to strengthening unity, stability, and cohesion within the party across all levels.

 

The lawmaker explained that the APC remains a party driven by shared values, teamwork, and a common vision for national development, adding, that the attributes have been sustained under purposeful leadership and reinforced by the guidance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose administration will continue to inspire confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda.

 

Hon. Fatoba also congratulated other members of the National Working Committee who emerged from the Convention, most especially from the South West and Ekiti State in particular.

 

He acknowledged their roles in consolidating the party’s structures and advancing its progressive ideals.

 

The honourable expressed strong optimism, that the Yilwatda-led National Working Committee will continue to build on existing gains, deepen internal democracy, and strategically position the APC for resounding success in the forthcoming electoral engagements.

Hon Fatoba wished the National Chairman, National Secretary, and the entire leadership of the party a successful tenure marked by unity, excellence, and impactful service to both the party and the nation at large.
