The House of Representatives member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Fatoba Olusola Steve has congratulated the Onigbemo of Igbemo-Ekiti, Oba Adewumi Daramola, Alare of Are-Ekiti, Oba Boluwade Adebiyi and other Ekiti traditional rulers on elevation to first class status by Ekiti state government.
The lawmaker in a statement expressed his delight over the latest development. He described the elevation of the traditional rulers as a welcome development and right step taken so far.
“I heartily congratulate Onigbemo of Igbemo-Ekiti, Oba Adewumi Daramola, Alare of Are-Ekiti, Oba Boluwade Adebiyi and other thirty-eight Ekiti traditional rulers on their elevation to first class status among the committee of Obas in Yoruba land.
“This is heartwarming and a welcome development. The newly elevated traditional rulers merit it all. The state government has taken a right step in the right direction by upgrading our royal fathers. This is highly commendable”
Fatoba stated further by wishing the newly elevated monarchs long life on the throne of their forefathers.
“I wish our newly elevated royal fathers long life on the throne of their forefathers. May God continue to elevate them and make their reign peaceful”
