Following the official announcement of APC Governorship candidate as the winner of June 18 election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the Federal lawmaker representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Fatoba Olusola Steve has joined well meaning Nigerians to congratulate the party’s candidate on his landslide victory.
The lawmaker in his congratulatory message in Ado-Ekiti described Oyebanji’s victory as victory for democracy and well deserved.
” I want to use this medium to congratulate our Governor-elect, His Excellency, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his landslide victory. It is of no doubt that Ekiti people have spoken with their votes and identify with a man of their choice to succeed the incumbent Governor come October 16.
“It is victory for democracy. I congratulate our great party and the Executive Governor of Ekiti state, His Excellency, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi who will be the first to break the jinx of handing over to a successor from the same party. This is a laudable feat”
Hon. Fatoba commended the people of Ekiti state for taking the right decision with their massive votes for Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
He also congratulated the deputy governor-elect, Her Excellency, Chief(Mrs) Monisade Christianah Afuye.
The Reps. Member wished the Governor-elect success ahead in his new endeavors.
