The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation,Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has appealed to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to alleviate the suffering they undergo on a daily basis because of bad roads by fixing them.
He urged the state government to as a matter of urgency, rehabilitate the road from Itaore to Ado Ekiti.
He lamented over the poor condition of the road, which has become difficult for the movement of vehicles.
“The residents of Ekiti state and users of the road from Itaore to Ado Ekiti are confronted with the challenge of plying a poor road daily will had caused alot damages on their vehicles’,
” The roads are dotted by deep potholes, which is making vehicular movements very difficult”he lamented.
Falegan urged the state government to urgently fix the road.
According to him, many cars always break down on the road due to the portholes that have taken over every portion of the road.
“I don’t even know if we even have a governor in this state again. He is not alive to his responsibilities. He abandoned this major road project and has now shifted his attention to the Flyover.
“It is sad that we have found ourselves in this situation. The road is damaging our cars daily. In a week, motorists must visit a mechanic workshop twice to fix their cars.
The Founder described the situation as extremely bad, wondering why the government was insensitive to the plight of Ekiti people.
“How long will it take the government to fix the road ? Now the road is a total mess and we say we have a governor, he groaned.
