The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation (ODF), Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has condemned in strong term the gruesome killings of two Ekiti traditional rulers, the Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Samuel Olusola and Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsola along Oke-Ako Ayedun road in Ajoni Local Council Development Area and abduction of school pupils and teachers of a private missionary school in Emure-Ekiti.
The Founder described the ugly incidents as worrisome and unfortunate.
Falegan called on the security agencies in the state to intensify more efforts in bringing the perpetrators of the act into book.
He condemned in strong term the killing of monarchs and the abduction of the innocent pupils and some of their teachers.
“I condemn in strongest term the gruesome killings of two traditional rulers at Oke-Ako in Ajoni Local Council Development Area and abduction of school pupils in Emure-Ekiti, ”
According to him, this incident is sad and quite unfortunate. This is a call on the government both at the federal and state levels to redouble their efforts in order to put a stop to these barbaric acts.
The Founder called on security agencies in the state to unravel the people behind agencies in the unwholesome act.
In his words, ” I call on the security agencies in the state to unravel those behind this evil act and bring them to book”.
He noted that the vacuum of their lost cannot be filled by anyone urging the people of the two towns to take solace in God.
