The House of Representatives Member representing Ado, Irepodun-Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba has reacted to the conferment of Oni Uyi Award on His Royal Majesty, Oba(Dr)Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti by Ekiti state government.
The lawmaker in a statement described the award of Recognition and Excellence given to the custodian of royal stool in Ado-Ekiti as “An honor well deserved”
Hon. Fatoba furthered that the history of the creation of Ekiti state would remain incomplete without taking into cognizance the invaluable contributions of Ewi of Ado-Ekiti.
He also commended the state Governor, His Excellency, Dr John Kayode Fayemi for coming up with such brilliant idea to celebrate and honor eminent personalities who have in one way or the other contributed towards the creation of Ekiti state.
On a final, Hon. Fatoba congratulated other awardees and wished them more greater height and reward for their selfless service towards the progress of our dear state, Ekiti.
