Esa Oke Crisis:Tension as One Reportedly Killed, Many Others Injured
Tension in Osa Oke, Osun state following invasion of Obokun Local government area of Osun state by gunmen shooting sporadically which has already led to killing of one student with others sustaining different degree of injuries .

Our Correspondent reports that, the crisis may not have been in connected with the protest by some people over State Government’s announcement to appoint one Prince Timileyin Ajayi as the new Olojudo of Ido Ajegunle in Obokun local government.
The candidature of Prince Ajayi which did not go down well with a cross session the people in the community may been the issue that led to the crisis which was reported to have emernated from the community directly located behind Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke.
The gunshots led to killing of deceased, identified as Clement Ajayi who was reported to be a student of the college of Education.
Confirming the story to our Correspondent, the Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) Osun police command, Yemisi Opalola, said peace was already being maintained as the community as the police have been deployed to the area since the crisis started.
