Enugu Big Girl Arrested With Cocaine Allegedly Involved With Abba Kyari

Ms. Onuorah Caritas Onyinye, who was arrested with banned drug substances at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu has reportedly involved the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, in her drug peddling career.

It could be recalled that News Band , on July 26, reported that Ms. Onuorah was arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The drug police arrested the Chief Executive Officer of Smart Beyoncé Hairs with banned drug substances at the Enugu International Airport with 2.192 kilograms of cocaine at the Airport upon arrival aboard Ethiopian Airline flight from Addis Ababa.

The drug was concealed in two women designer handbags when she was nabbed by the Anti-Narcotics Agency.

In a twist of events, however, the 29-year-old popular hair vendor, according to an NDLEA source who pleaded anonymity, involved Abba Kyari, who is already standing trial for allegedly dealing in drugs, in drug trafficking ordeal.

According to another source, Onuorah alleged that she paid Abba Kyari $35,000 protection fee every month to help her get drugs into Nigeria through Enugu state.

It was gathered that the NDLEA operatives had been trailing the suspect for some time.

Upon her arrival, they thoroughly searched her luggage and discovered the concealed drugs in two designer women’s handbags with false linings.

Meanwhile, in a related development involving the “super cop”, the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has admitted as exhibit the sum of $61,400 which the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police allegedly offered as bribe to the NDLEA operatives.
Justice Emeka Nwite on July 21, admitted the funds in evidence after the NDLEA tendered it through the third prosecution witness, Peter Joshua.
