As Nigerians are in another festive period, the House of Representatives member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 and Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon. Fatoba Olusola Steve has urged Nigerians to emulate the good virtues of Jesus Christ.
Fatoba in his greeting message said celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ can only be meaningful if will to follow his good steps such as showing unconditional love to one another, being honest and kind. He described these qualities as essential to nation building.
“The essence of celebrating Christmas should not be about merriment alone but an opportunity for us to show love and share whatever we have with those around us. It is by emulating the good virtues of Jesus Christ that we can make the celebration of his birth more meaningful and impactful”
The parliamentarian stated further in his greeting message by calling on Christians in Ekiti state and Nigeria as a whole to use the opportunity provided by the festive period to pray for the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Finally, he wished them happy celebration.
“As we are in the mood of celebration, don’t let’s forget to use the opportunity provided by this festive period to pray for the success of Governor Biodun Oyebanji administration and that of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Let’s celebrate in moderation without disturbing the peace of the state. I wish all Christians happy celebration”
