….Warns petroleum marketers against unwholesome practices

The Ekiti State Government through its agency, the Petroleum Products Regulation and Consumer Protection Agency has swung into action to end fuel scarcity in the state which has made life unbearable for the people.
The government agency which was led by its Chairman, Hon. Odunayo Arinka and other task force members carried out inspection tour to some filling stations in Ado and Irepodun-Ifelodun local governments to enforce compliance with the earlier directive given by the state government to all filling stations to make petroleum product available for sale to the public and to check their pumps in case there is any foul play.
The Petroleum task force during its inspection discovered that some of the filling stations were not performing well as expected. Stern warning was giving to the non-performing filling stations while the ones whose case were very bad were sealed up by the task force and given a fine to pay to the government.
Among the filling stations sealed was Febasons link and Pharmaceutical Nig. LTD at Odo Ado area of Ado-Ekiti. The agency instructed the filling stations found of hoarding fuel to start selling to the public with immediate effect.
