In its determination to find lasting solution to fuel scarcity, Ekiti state government on Wednesday inaugurated task force on fuel scarcity.
The task force which was chaired by Hon. Deji Adesokan Israel was inaugurated by the Secretary to State Government(SSG) Dr(Mrs) Habibat Omolara Adubiaro on behalf of the state Governor, His Excellency, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
In her brief remark during their inauguration, Dr. Adubiaro congratulated members of the task force for being seen worthy to carry out the onerous task of putting an end to fuel scarcity in the state.
The SSG urged them to carry-out the assignment given to them with outmost sincerety and high level of commitment.
“On behalf of Ekiti state government, I congratulate you for being seen as worthy and capable to find a lasting solution to the fuel scarcity in our state.
“You have been called upon to put in your possible best in ensuring that scarcity of fuel in Ekiti becomes a thing of the past. I want to urge you to carry-out your assignment with outpost sincerety and seriousness.
“Government will give you all the necessary support to make your task easier.
The Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Deji Adesokan on behalf of other members showed their profound appreciation to the state government and promised that members of the committee would be up to task in their responsibilities.
