Heritagenewsng reports that all roads lead to the Oluyemi Kayode stadium in Ado on Sunday August 22 as the Ekiti soccer lords, Ekiti United fc get set for the last match of the season against Dynamite Force fc.
The week 22 encounter in the NNL Southern Conference B1 will be played same day and same time with other last Round of matches in the group.
Training has been going on at the Oluyemi Kayode stadium without any hitch as all the players are in good shape medically according to the team nurse, Toyin Babatunde.
Head coach, Samson Omiponle and the technical crew who have been taking charge of the daily training morning and afternoon sessions also affirmed the oneness and unity of purpose that thrives in the camp while the chairman of Ekiti United supporters club, Sunday Afolabi urged every positive thinking and forward looking Ekiti footballl lover and enthusiast to keep praying for the team adding that Ekiti is “our own isreal and anyone who wishes Isreal well , will surely do good”
As of yesterday (Thursday) the training went well as the players were beaming with confidence ahead of their last training today (Friday)
The duo of Babatunde Bello and Afeez Yussuf who joined forces with players of Sunshine Stars of Akure to ensure the team retains its premier league status are now back in the fold of Ekiti United fc and have been training with the rest of the squad.
Secretary of Ekiti United fc, Ayodeji Olowolafe who hardly sleeps these days said lots of work and logistics have been put in place ahead of sunday’s match adding that more work will be done between today and tomorrow for Ekiti United to carry the day in fulfilment of the dream and aspiration of all Ekiti sons at home and abroad.
Interestingly, Ekiti United will also pray and support Osun United to beat Go Round fc same day for Ekiti United to snatch the second position from Go Round fc .
A win for Ekiti United and a win for Osun United gives Ekiti United a ticket for the Super 8 .
