Ekiti State Showcases ABUAD, EKSU , BOUESTI, Venite, Top Universities, and Polytechnics at Akwaaba Travel Market
– The Ekiti State Government proudly participated in the 20th Akwaaba African Travel Market held at Eko Hotel Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development Stormed the market by showcasing the academic excellence and its top universities, polytechnics and colleges of Education.
Ekiti State was represented by officials from Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Venite University, Ekiti State University (EKSU), Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), and Ekiti State Polytechnic, Is an ,Ekiti . The delegation of the Bureau of Tourism Development Ekiti State wore academic gowns to highlight the educational focus of the event.
“Ekiti State is known as the ‘Fountain of Knowledge’ in Nigeria, and we were excited to share the outstanding learning opportunities available at our world-class institutions,” said Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre, Director General Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development
“By promoting our universities and polytechnics at Akwaaba, we hope to attract both Nigerian and international students to experience the rich academic and cultural offerings of Ekiti State.”
The Akwaaba Travel Market held at Eko Hotel Victoria Island afforded Ekiti State to feature interactive displays, information sessions, and cultural performances to engage attendees. Potential students and their families were able to learn about degree programs, campus life, and scholarship opportunities at these institutions of learning in Ekiti State.
The Akwaaba African Travel Market is West Africa’s leading travel and tourism exchange, bringing together travel and tourism professionals, tourism boards, airlines, hotels, and other industry stakeholders. This year’s event ran from September 21- 24 3024 in Lagos.
