A young man who was sentenced to life imprisonment by a court after he forcefully had carnal knowledge of a lady has had his name and photo published by the Ekiti State government on its S*x Offenders Register, it was gathered on Friday, May 13.
The state government, through the Ministry of Justice, has opened a register where names and photographs of men who forcefully sleep with girls and ladies are always published after they might have been convicted in the courts.
So, on Friday, the state Ministry of Justice announced on its Facebook wall the registration of the name of another convict, whose name was given as Tope Sola Ojolo, a 26-year-old native of Ikere Ekiti, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for forcefully sleeping with a 19-year-old lady.
The young man, as posted by the Ekiti State Ministry of Justice on Friday.
Ojolo, who resided at Isaoye, Odo-oja, where the act was committed, is currently serving his life imprisonment at the Nigerian Correctional Centre in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
Following his conviction for the act by the court, the state government, through the Ministry of Justice, on Friday, May 13, published his name and photograph on the ministry’s S*x Offenders Register.
