The Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr(Mrs) Habibat Omolara Adubiaro has mourned the demise of popular Muslim cleric, Alhaji Olowoyo Arikeuyo, the Awiye Adinni of Ekiti state.
Adubiaro in a statement in Ado-Ekiti described the death of the Muslim cleric as, “painful and devastating”.
She commiserated with the Grand Imam and President General league of Imams and Alfas, Alhaji Jamiu Kewulere, the entire Muslim community and the family of the deceased.
“On behalf of my family, I am using this medium to register my condolence over the painful demise of Alhaji Olowoyo Arikeuyo. I commiserate with the Grand Imam and President General league of Imams and Alfas, Alhaji Jamiu Kewulere, the entire Muslims in Ekiti state and the family of the deceased over this unfortunate incident. This is a sad moment for the entire Muslim community”
The SSG furthered in her condolence message by praying that Almighty Allah would rest the soul of Alhaji Arikeuyo and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
“Allah gives and takes as we are all destined to die. As we mourn the death of Alhaji Arikeuyo, I pray that Almighty Allah would rest his soul and grant the family fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss”
