The Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr Habitat Omolara Adubiaro has charged women political office holders to continue to mobilize grassroots women with a view to empower them for national development.
The SSG gave the charge during an empowerment programme organized by the Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly Mrs Bolaji Olagbaju Egbeyemi held at the Feyisetan hall,Isato in Ado-Ekiti.
Dr. Adubiaro while speaking at the programme applauded the lawmaker for giving back to the people few months after assuming office.
According to her the present administration holds women in high esteem saying the empowerment programme for the women among the beneficiaries would go along way in boosting their economy and give them a sense of belonging in this administration.
She advised the beneficiaries to make the best use of the cash gifts giving to them especially at this period of economic crisis in the country.
Dr. Adubiaro Congratulated and thanked Hon. Olagbaju for her kind gesture and pray for God’s guidance for her.
The programme had in attendance top government functionaries and notable individuals from across Ado Local Government and her Local Council Development Areas (LCDA)
