The Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro has assured the Nigeria Special Constabulary Police Officers of Ekiti State Government’s support to ensure that their dedication and hardwork to the State and their Communities did not go unnoticed.
Dr Adubiaro said this while playing host to the Constabulary Police Officers in her office in Ado-Ekiti.
The SSG who listened intently, was moved by their plight. She acknowledged their sacrifices and assured them of the government’s support with their records already documented at Police Division Headquarters and recognized by Traditional Rulers ,the part to absorption into the state police force seemed hopeful, she said ”
The State Commandant of the Nigeria Special Constabulary Police, Mr. Tope Adeoya and his fellow officers gathered their courage and marched to the office of the secretary to the State Government with the mission to seek for the help of the state government through the SSG to seek absorption into the upcoming state police force and to finally receive the recognition and support they deserved .
Adeoya in his speech recounted their struggles, the comrades who lost their lives in the line of duty, the injuries ensured and the families left behind without adequate support which is the reason why they seek State Government’s support for absorption into the state police force when the time comes.
Dr Adubiaro who said though their journey had been marked by hardship and sacrifices, they will surely emerge as true heroes, the guidance of peace in the land of Ekiti, she assured “
