The Ekiti State Sports Council has invited members of the public who are genuinely interested in taking up positions at the various Sporting Associations in Ekiti state to express interest.
In readiness for the re-constitution of new executives for the various Sporting Associations in Ekiti State, the Sports Council Chairman, Hon.Mrs Olusola Osetoba said the Sports Council is ready to welcome anyone with proven integrity and passion for sports who might be interested in helping in the task of developing sports in compliance with the vision of the state government.
She urged interested individuals to contact the General Manager to obtain the form for a token of Two Thousand Naira and for more enquiries.
Mrs Osetoba said gone were the days when friends and relatives of some sports stakeholders were made Sporting Association Executives without prerequisite passion , genuine interest and commitment towards sports development.
The Sports Council boss said only genuine sports enthusiasts who could spend their time, energy and resources on the development of Sports would be considered to lead the various Sporting Associations.
The forms are available for collection at the office of the General Manager, Ekiti State Sports Council as from Monday November 22, 2021.
