The Sports Council boss has lauded the Ekiti State Football Association headed by Mr Bayo Olanlege for innovating a state youth soccer competition across various local governments areas in the state.
Osetoba noted that the Local Government Unity Championships have positively and gainfully engaged several youth at each local government.
She also commended the various Sponsors of the competition and the Local Football Councils for striving towards the staging of the competition currently going on across the state.
The Sports Council boss who equally welcomed back the young children who went to Lagos for the recently concluded South West Athletics Championship in Lagos commended them and the coaches for being worthy ambassadors of the state and coming back home with medals as usual.
She said a one day local government Sports Fiesta which will be a major event to round of the year will soon be organized for young children from all parts of Ekiti state with a view to discovering and harnessing hidden talents in Sports from the grassroots.
