Congratulatory message from the Ekiti Sports Circle has gone to Coach Kehinde Anjorin following his successful completion of a week long Instructors’ Course held in Abuja.
The Ekiti State Football Head Coach was one of the over 30 certified Football instructors according to the Nigeria Football Federation-NFF after they were selected amongst the 32 coaches in the country for the course in Abuja.
The Ekiti Sports Circle Steering Committee co-headed by retired coach, Samuel Oladipo and retired sports administrator, Pastor Abraham Ayodele lauded Coach Anjorin for being a worthy ambassador of Ekiti state through the game of football as the coach recently led NYSC, Ekiti State to win the NYSC DGs CUP also in Abuja.
Similarly, the Sports Circle comprising stakeholders including coaches, athletes, Referees, Sports Medicine, Sports Journalists, Sports administrators among others both active and retired in the sports sector in Ekiti State also congratulated Ekiti born young athlete, Bamidele Ajayi on his award as one of the most outstanding youths in Ekiti State at the recently held Award Night organized by the state government.
The group commended the organizers for including a sportsman with enviable World record in the list of award recipients saying it was a sign that better days await Ekiti born rising sportsmen and women.
The Sports Circle while applauding the Ekiti State government for setting merceneries in motion towards the take-off of the recently endorsed Sports Development Trust Fund, it urged all members of the Board to make accountability and purposeful implementation of the main policy and programs of the Trust Fund their watchword.
It expressed hope that the Sports Development Trust Fund if well harnessed will bring about desired succour and development to the sport sector.
The sports stakeholders also congratulated the chairman of Ekiti State Sports Council, Hon.Mrs Olushola Osetoba on her 6 months in office and the General Manager, Mr Kunle Adeyemi who clocks 2 monthsc in office urging them to keep up the good works and impressive activities in the sports sector.
The Ekiti Sport Circle said its blueprint will soon be out let the public especially government know its stance, objectives and projection.
