Ekiti Speaker Mourns Fola Alade’s Death

 

The Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Funminiyi Afuye has mourned the death of the Aramoko Ekiti born architect, Fola Alade, describing it as a great loss to Ekiti in particular and Nigeria as a whole.

The Special Adviser to the Speaker on media, Akogun Tai Oguntayo made this known in a press release he signed and made available to journalists.

The family of Fola Alade and Eleyinmi announced the death of the foremost architect on Saturday 19, 2021. He hails from Aramoko Ekiti in Ekiti West Local Government.

The Speaker who opined that Fola Alade in his life time was a core professional, described him as the giant pillar behind the various physical structures of many institutions in Nigeria today. He was a patriot in the real sense and left his mark on the sand of time.

Afuye therefore sympathized with the family, Aramoko community and the entire Ekiti State. He prayed to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
