Heritagenewsng reports that Football team of the National Youth Service Corps-NYSC from Ekiti state has landed in Abuja where the players will contest with their counterparts in the 2021 NYSC DGs Cup which kicks off today in Abuja today.
According to coach Kehinde Anjorin who led the team to the competition , the squad departed Ado Ekiti yesterday (Sunday) and arrived Abuja safely .
Ekiti NYSC footballers are representing South West NYSC in the DGs Cup which ends Friday this week.
The Ekiti NYSC that picked qualification ticket at the zonal qualifiers in Osogbo recently will slug it out with their counterparts from Nasarawa, Bauchi, Taraba, Rivers and Anambra states.
Ekiti NYSC first match kicks off today at 11am at the Moshood Abiola Stadiun Training pitch in Abuja against Bauchi NYSC.
