The state Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers in Ekiti state, Comrade Osho Farotimi has distanced himself from the news report that the transport union in
the state were compromised in the recent COVID-19 Survival Fund by the FG.
The NURTW Boss stated this in an interview with Heritagenewsng correspondent in Ado-Ekiti this evening when confronted with the news in today media reports.
According to him, the news report was nothing but lies from the pit of hell which is hell bent of stirring discontent between the union and the state government.
“When I got hold of the news report where I was quoted of lamenting over how the driver’s union in Ekiti were short-changed in the distribution of COVID-19 Survival Fund, I was off balance because nothing like that emanated from me”
He furthered, “I see this news report as a calculated attempt by some disgruntled elements to shatter the smooth relationship I am currently enjoying with the state government”
He added that drivers’ union in Ekiti benefitted much from the COVID-19 palliative.
Comrade Osho also commended Ekiti state governor, His Excellency, Dr John Kayode Fayemi for excellent performance in office saying that his achievements in the last three years will forever remain ever green.
“The transport union under my leadership show profound appreciation to His Excellency, Dr John Kayode Fayemi for keeping to his promise going by various developmental projects in the state”
The NURTW Boss stated further that the union is in total support of JKF’s administration any day, anytime.
That is the truth and nothing but the truth by the state chairman of the Nurtw comrade Oso farotimi The national union I mean the drivers in Ekiti State are all in support of the governor for his good performance here in Ekiti State and as the chairman governor form God bless JKF
