Ekiti NUJ Honours Adubiaro

….SSG restates government’s commitment to battle insecurity

The Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr.Habibat Adubiaro was recognized for her steadfast commitment and invaluable support to the union, as she received a prestigious award at a public lecture organized by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ekiti State Chapter themed:” Breaking The Barriers To A Secured Society” in Ado Ekiti on Thursday.

During her address, Dr. Adubiaro passionately emphasized the profound impact of parental upbringing on children’s lives. She urged mothers to embrace the responsibility of nurturing their children in accordance with moral values, noting that inadequate parental care could pose a threat to societal peace.

“In his benevolent manner, the governor has consistently supported the state’s security agencies by providing them with essential mobility resources,” she remarked. “Recently, Governor Oyebanji distributed vehicles to enhance the mobility of security personnel, underscoring his commitment to bolstering security efforts in the state.”

Dr. Adubiaro also highlighted the strides made by Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration in youth empowerment. “Over one thousand youths were empowered last year, and similar initiatives have continued this year,” she stated. “The governor’s proactive measures aim to keep our youth engaged and occupied, ensuring peace of mind for parents and society as a whole.”

The event was graced by the presence of Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, represented by his Special Adviser on Security matters,Brig.Gen.Ebenezer Ogundana as well as notable dignitaries including the resource person and Ondo Amotekun Commandant, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, and Dr. Olusola Moka from the Federal University Oye.
