Ekiti NSCDC Hands Over 14 Suspects to EFCC

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command has handed over 14 suspects to Ilorin zonal office of Economic and Financial Crime Commission at the headquarters in Ekiti State.

Handing over the suspects, the State Commandant Mr. Sosina Oluwaseun Paul explained that the suspects were arrested in the state capital after routine checks and manhunts which involved the Counter Terrorism Unit, Intelligence and Investigation Unit and Financial Crime Unit of the Command following numerous complaints from general public especially business owners who had been complaining of disappearance of funds in their banks account and point of sales operators with similar fraud reports.

The State Commandant who listed their offences as criminal conspiracy, cybercrime and obtaining under false pretenses, handed over the following suspects to the EFCC for further investigation.

Oyinlola Kehinde 22 years, he was arrested with an Iphone 13 and a Samsung X, Damilola Olamiekan 21 years, found in his possession were Iphone 12, Iphone 6 and a TVS bike with registration number BWR 586 CN, Temitope Israel 23year with a Samsung X8PLUS and a techno phone.

Ayodele Marcus 23 years with an Iphone 4 PRO, Iphone 7, jewelries, keys and a small bike with registration number Dek 491 QD. Others were Lawal Sodiq 21 years with an Iphone 12, Soiq Idris with an Iphone 13, Samsung X9 Camry 2019 model with registration number FST 827JP Lagos, Tosin Damilola 21 years with an Iphone 12promax, Ale Kolajo 3 wih Samsung x9plus, Olarenwaju Emmanuel 19 years with an Iphone 12, Anjorin Abiodun 20 years with Iphone 15 and a TVS bike with registration number LAW 161 QC kayoed Segun 18 years with an Iphone 14, a Toyota Camry 2017 model with registration number RSH 654 EU Oluwole Samuel 21 years with a Samsung S21 and Oluwapelumi Lawal 19 years with an Iphone 13and a Samsung S9 phone.
