The Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr(Mrs) Habibat Omolara Adubiaro has rallied support and vote for the All Progressives Congress(APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Ekiti Muslim Summit which took place on Sunday at Obafemi Awolowo Civic and Convention Centre, Ado-Ekiti

Adubiaro in her speech stated that it is time for presidency to come to Yorubaland hence the need for all Muslims in the region to rise in support of Asiwaju. She described the former Lagos State Governor as the better candidate to support going by his sterling qualities and laudable achievements as govenor of the center of Excellence. The SSG added that a vote for Tinubu is a vote for the progress of Yorubaland.

“Firstly what I want to say is that, it is the turn of we Yorubas. The reason I say it is our turn in Yorubaland is not because our father, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a Muslim. Though for him being a Muslim is important but not the major reason. I see him as a person who has ruled Lagos state successfully for good eight years with laudable achievements.

“He transformed Lagos to what everybody uses as a point of reference. Going by how he has been able to transform Lagos state, we want him to replicate that feat at the federal level as president of this country”

“Asiwaju is also someone that doesn’t only give you fish but teaches you how to fish. That is what stands him out among those contesting with him. None of those contesting with him matches his record in terms human development. He is a credible candidate to give our support and vote to come February 25″

” I know that in all the six states in South West, Ekiti will not lag behind in their massive votes for Tinubu and in the name of Almighty Allah, the most beneficent, Asiwaju will become the president of Nigeria”

The SSG stated further by calling on Muslims to go and collect their permanent voter’s card as it is the only way they can participate actively in the February 25, presidential election.

“I also want to use this medium to plead to those who have not collected their voter’s card to go and collect it before the due date. I believe that with what you have been told by our Islamic scholars, for those that have collected their PVC and those that yet to collect, you will go and collect your PVC and cast your votes for Asiwaju Tinubu come February 25”
